The School Band at Kanya Shiksha Parisar, Sehore, run by Surya Foundation, is not just about music—it is a lesson in discipline, dedication, and harmony. Just as the Navy, Army, and Air Force inspire us with their bands, our students learn focus and coordination through musical training.
Guided by an experienced band teacher, students practice various instruments such as drums, aanak, flute, conch, and more. They perform during annual festivals, national events, and special occasions, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotism and rhythm. Performances include soulful tunes of Meera and Kiran, as well as captivating formations like Chakravyuh and Swastik.
Pipe Band
The Pipe Band is a unique musical ensemble of pipers and drummers, known for its powerful rhythm and unmatched coordination. At Kanya Shiksha Parisar, the Pipe Band instills leadership, discipline, and teamwork among students while giving them opportunities to represent the school at state and national competitions.
Their performances add grandeur to school celebrations with patriotic tunes like Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja, Sare Jahan Se Accha, and Jai Janma Bhoomi. With synchronized steps and musical harmony, the Pipe Band is one of the most cherished symbols of our school’s cultural and patriotic spirit.
